The National Library of Sweden enters new agreement with OA Switchboard
Within the framework of its task to coordinate, monitor and promote cooperation between stakeholders for open access to scientific publications, the National Library of Sweden (NLS) has signed a membership agreement for 2023 with OA Switchboard – a central metadata hub.

OA Switchboard is a non-profit, community-driven collaboration between funders, academic institutions and publishers that aims to support and develop the open infrastructure of which scientific publications are part. OA Switchboard offers a system where standardized data exchange takes place between the actors involved, which can both streamline and quality-assure working methods and communication.
Through the membership paid for by the NLS, all participating organizations within the Bibsam Consortium have the opportunity to use the service during 2023 without incurring any extra fees. Interest has been strong, and a total of 26 participating organizations have chosen to join.
