In the digitised card catalogues, you can explore some of our older material, which is not represented in other search services.
If you can't find what you're looking for in our modern search services, it may be in the older card catalogues. Here you will find older books and magazines, broadside ballads, music prints, tribute texts, records and radio programs.
The service brings together a range of catalogues based on digitizations of old card catalogues. Some of them are typed, while others are handwritten. In many cases, you will have to browse through the digital cards, as not all of them are searchable.

Nominal catalog of the manuscript collection
Alphabetical catalog of the older parts of the National library's manuscript collection.
Uncatalogued print
Alphabetical catalogue of institutions, organisations and associations in the National library's collection of everyday printed matter.
Olof Liljeson's record collection
Swedish and foreign recordings released 1899-1952, as well as record collector Olof Liljeson's own recordings on lacquer discs of radio programs and private material 1938-1948.
Roggebiblioteket
Catalogue of, among other things, theology, classical works, medical and scientific literature. The material is in Roggebiblioteket, Strängnäs.
Lilla Roggekatalogen
The smaller card catalogue with, among other things, broadsheets, dissertations, occasional poems and acquisitions 1982-1994. The material is in Roggebiblioteket, Strängnäs.
Skillingtryckskatalogen
Catalogue of broadsheets (songs).
Musikkatalogen
Catalogue of music prints, among other things.
Plåten
Material printed from 1501 to 1955 inclusive. Large parts of the catalogue have been transferred to Regina and Libris.
Porträttsamlingen
Alphabetical catalogue of persons in the National library's portrait collections.
Verses about individuals
Tributes to individuals in connection with funerals, weddings and other events.
