Find and request books and magazines

You can find most of our books and magazines using in the search services Libris and Regina. Regina is our own search tool and this is also where you place your order. You can either order from home or at the Library.

How it works

  • You can order up to seven volumes at a time.
  • You will be notified by email when the material is available at the information and loans desk.
    • Orders placed during the day will be available by 15:00 the following working day.
    • Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be available by 15:00 the following Monday.
  • You read the material in the Main Reading Room.
  • Ordered material will be held for seven opening days.
  • Material printed before 1830, rare books, music prints and items from special collections may take a bit longer to retrieve. These materials must always be read in the Special Reading Room.
